- This practice serves children on the pediatric floor with an average daily number of 12 to 18 patients in the 26-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit. Hospital staff are at home 24 hours a day.
- Responsibilities include the primary care of patients in the pediatric department and consultations with families and referring physicians. The pediatric hospital service serves as primary care for subspecialty patients in consultation with their subspecialist. Subspecialties include Neurology, Pulmonary Medicine, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology. This position does not include the care of newborns.
- The position offers an average workload of 14 to 16 shifts of 12 hours per month
